About Institutional Repositories
Institutional Repositories (IRs) can bring together all of an organization's research under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research.
IRs are an excellent vehicle for working papers or copies of published articles and conference papers. Presentations, training materials, theses, abstracts, and other works not published elsewhere can also be published in the IR.
But IRs can do more. They can highlight work of the organization that benefit both the organization and the broader community, invite collaboration, increase research, and promote thinking among scholars and educators around the world..
