Carrie has enjoyed working in childhood mental health with specific focus on attachment and trauma for almost 20 years. Her passion for working with at risk children began in high school while volunteering at an orphanage while on a mission trip. She has continued to work with children in orphanages around the world, those in the American foster care system, and adoptees and their families since that time. Carrie values partnering with children and their caregivers to build lasting positive relationships and thriving individuals and families. Carrie currently provides integrated primary care, parenting support, and evidence-based therapies as an Early Childhood Clinical Therapist at the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Health.
