Description
This training provides a high level overview of the effects of in-utero drug exposure on infants and young children, focusing on the critical support needed for both the child and their caregivers. Participants will gain a understanding of the diverse impacts of prenatal substance exposure on healthy physical and cognitive development, including potential long-term effects throughout childhood. The training will explore common developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and medical conditions associated with exposure, and provide practical strategies for early intervention and supports.
